SUY NIỆM: Bài Tin Mừng hôm nay tiếp tục cho chúng ta thấy lòng dạ của môn đệ Giuđa. Cũng như càng làm cho chúng ta cảm nghiệm sâu xa nỗi khổ tâm tủi nhục của Thầy Giêsu trước những môn đệ yêu dấu. Hai hình ảnh đối nghịch càng làm nổi bật cảnh đau thương tê tái! Thầy đã quá yêu thương môn đệ, trong khi kẻ giả hình Giuđa âm mưu phản bội, Phêrô hứa sẽ liều mạng sống vì Thầy nhưng chẳng bao lâu lại chối Thầy.
Nhìn lại mình, chúng ta có hơn gì Giuđa hay Phêrô không? chúng ta có trung thành với Chúa trong mọi hoàn cảnh, có can đảm theo Chúa cho đến giờ sau hết, có dám nhận là môn đệ Chúa trong tình huống như Phêrô không?
CẦU NGUYỆN:Lạy Chúa Giêsu, Mùa Chay mời gọi chúng con suy gẫm cuộc khổ nạn của Chúa, những đau đớn của thân xác cũng như tâm hồn. Thân thể Chúa đã chịu những đau đớn tột cùng, nhưng sự phản bội, chối bỏ Chúa còn gây cho Ngài nỗi đau gấp bội.
Lạy Chúa, mỗi lần chúng con phạm tội, là chúng con đã phản bội lại tình yêu mà Chúa đã dành cho chúng con. Xin cho chúng con biết từ bỏ tội lỗi, quyết tâm sửa đổi đời sống để xứng đáng đón nhận ơn cứu độ.
