    Ôi kỷ niệm quê hương ngày xưa ấy

    Nhớ bóng cây ao cá với sân vườn

    Nhớ tuổi thơ trốn tìm trong bụi rậm

    Những đêm hè hú hí gọi tiếng ve

    Bắt đom đóm chắp đèn cho ánh sáng

    Để đầu giường cứ ngỡ tựa vầng trăng

    Chiều tan học nô đùa quanh thôn xóm

    Những cánh diều nâng ước vọng tuổi xanh

    Sao nhung nhớ những trưa hè tháng sáu

    Bắt cua đồng nhem nhuốc mặt thơ ngây

    Những buổi chiều đi mò tôm bắt ốc

    Nước sông quê ngàu đục vấn vương tình

    Bao kỷ niệm thanh bình nơi xóm cũ

    Chui đống rơm đùa giỡn những ngày thơ

    Đêm về nằm “gảy đàn da” đã ngứa

    Chẳng chừa đâu mai tiếp tục giỡn chơi

    Sao quên được khi tiết trời trở lạnh

    Mẹ lấy rơm trải nệm ấm giường êm

    Ru giấc ngủ ngọt mềm mùa đông giá

    Để tuổi thơ vang khúc hát lời ca

    Cho ký ức vang xa tình lưu luyến

    Cho hiện tại xây đắp một tình yêu

    Cho ngày mai dệt cánh diều mơ ước

    Cho cuộc đời đẹp mãi tuổi thần tiên.
