    ĐÊM HÀI ĐỒNG

    Đêm hôm ấy là đêm Hài Đồng
    Chúa xuống làm người dưới thế
    Đêm hôm ấy con là mục đồng
    Đến với Chúa bằng tâm tình lặng lẽ.

    Những đứa trẻ sinh ra
    Không có chăn êm và nệm ấm
    Sẽ yêu Chúa nhiều hơn
    Một tình yêu trẻ con
    Nhẹ nhàng như hơi thở bò lừa
    Đơn sơ như cọng rơm vàng khô
    Nằm ngoan hiền dưới chân Chúa.

    Thiên thần ở trên trời cao
    Những đứa trẻ nghèo hèn ở dưới đất
    Trong giá lạnh mùa đông
    Những đứa trẻ bật khóc
    Nước mắt là món quà duy nhất
    Sao Chúa ra đời giống con.

    Đôi bàn chân trần sẽ lớn lên
    Đi khắp trần gian gieo Tin mừng Cứu thế
    Những đứa bé mục đồng rồi sẽ lớn lên
    Bằng tình yêu mạnh mẽ
    Ra đi
    Ra đi
    Ngân vang bài ca Tình yêu
    Hòa trong lời ca cuộc sống
    Từ mùa đông khó nghèo
    Sẽ bừng lên mùa xuân khát vọng
    Mùa xuân Ngôi Lời
    Vinh danh Thiên Chúa trên trời
    Bình an cho người dưới thế
    Bình an cho muôn ngàn đứa trẻ
    Đang sinh ra và lớn lên
    Trên trái đất này.
