SUY NIỆM: Có người nói: Sai lầm là chuyện của con người bởi vì ở trên đời ai mà không phạm sai lầm. Mặt khác người ta cũng nói: Tha thứ là tính cách của Thiên Chúa, bởi vì Thiên Chúa là Đấng nhân từ, luôn tha thứ. Thế nên, ai biết tha thứ thì người ấy giống Thiên Chúa và là con cái Chúa; tâm hồn người ấy tràn đầy hạnh phúc và bình an vì lúc đó Chúa ở với họ.
Tha thứ là việc thật quan trọng vì có giá trị cao hơn cả việc dâng lễ vật trên bàn thờ: “Nếu khi anh sắp dâng lễ vật trước bàn thờ, mà sực nhớ có người anh em đang có chuyện bất bình với anh, thì hãy để của lễ lại trước bàn thờ, đi làm hoà với người anh em ấy đã, rồi trở lại dâng lễ vật của mình” (Mt 5,23-24). Thiên Chúa là Đấng tuyệt đối, vô biên, vì thế Ngài dạy chúng ta không dừng lại ở mức độ của con người nghĩa là chỉ tha thứ có “7 lần” mà phải theo mức độ của Thiên Chúa nghĩa là tha thứ không giới hạn.
MỜI BẠN: Có lần nào đó bạn phạm một lỗi lầm và ước mong được tha thứ không? Khi đó bạn đã làm gì? Và bạn vui mừng như thế nào khi được tha? Hoặc bạn buồn khổ buồn thế nào khi lời xin lỗi của bạn bị chối từ?
