Vào lúc 14g ngày 8/4/2012 tại hội trường Giáo Xứ Thổ Hoàng. Xứ Đoàn đã tổ chức lễ khai giảng khóa đào tạo Huynh Trưởng cho đoàn Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể .
Khóa đào tạo năm nay có 11 anh chị tham gia ở trong 4 Giáo Họ gồm: GH Phê Rô Tự 5, GH Giu Se 2, GH Phao Lô 2, Gh Maria có 2 anh chị.
Buổi khai giảng ngày hôm nay ngoài các anh chị trong ban chấp hành Xứ Đoàn và các em dự trưởng còn có sự hiện diện của Cha Quản Xứ, Ban Huấn giáo, Anh Trợ Uý, đại diện Ban Hành Giáo các GH và phụ huynh của các em dự trưởng.
Bắt đầu buổi khai giảng Cha Quản Xứ đã nhấn mạnh về vai trò của người Huynh Trưởng. trong tương lai các em sẽ là những ngôn sứ đem lời Chúa đến với mọi người, đặc biệt là cho các em Thiếu Nhi, các dự trưởng sẽ là những tấm gương đạo hạnh biết dùng gương sáng để chinh phục các tâm hồn về với Chúa. biết học hỏi, hiểu và sống lời Chúa.
Sau huấn từ của Cha Quản Xứ là phát biểu của ông Giu Se Trần Hữu Huệ trưởng ban Huấn Giáo, phát biểu của đại diện các Giáo Họ, và ý kiến của phụ huynh. tất cả đều nói lên sự mong mỏi và tin tưởng nơi các em. sau khóa đào tạo này sẽ là những nhân tố tích cực để dìu dắt các em Thiếu Nhi trong Giáo Xứ.
Cuối cùng .Cha Quản Xứ đã trao khăn và tài liệu học tập cho các dự trưởng. và giờ học đầu tiên là môn Tín Lý sẽ bắt đầu vào lúc 19g ngày 9/4/2012 do Cha Quản Xứ phụ trách.
